WLS Coach
Greetings!
Recently, I celebrated the five year anniversary of my own weight
loss surgery. What a journey it has been! Those of you who are pre-op
or newly post-op are in for the ride of your life. It is an amazing
journey of both physical and emotional healing and growth.
I have always considered myself a natural counselor/mentor/coach.
Imagine my delight when I discovered that there is a growing
profession doing just that. I decided to take my experiences on this
journey, and my career objectives and combine them into a fee-based
service that I could share with my fellow sojourners.
Thus is born http://www.wlscoach.com. I have studied for the past 8
months and will soon be certified as a "coach." My goal is to offer
my services as a coach to anyone contemplating WLS or who has had WLS
of any type. I can help you with both emotional issues as well as
more practical matters such as eating and exercise. Coaching is about
goal setting and succeeding in reaching those goals.
