WLS Camp Out...
OK, testing the waters here...
Would any of y'all be interested in doing a weekend camp out at
Tannehill State Park (McCalla, Exit 100, I-59 towards Tuscaloosa) on one
of those "empty" weekends in October? You wouldn't have to stay all
weekend, or even overnight if you couldn't. I'd love to throw up a
couple of tents, build a nice campfire, do a little grillin' and
chillin', tell some Halloween stories to the kiddies, kick back some
cold Milo's Tea (sorry, no hard stuff for me), and just enjoy the moment
being together.
I know ChanMan and Felicia will be there... Right???
Tim.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I dunno about that, Tim. My idea of camping is no
remote on the color TV at the Holiday Inn.

Tim,
The camping trip sounds great. A little chillin and grillin
sounds wonderful. Count me and Roland in on that. Regina--- In

Gotcha down Regina! Now we just got to pick a weekend...
Tim.
I think we're going to be a little more primitive than that. But, the
good news is we usually throw down our tents right across from the
restrooms, so at least we won't have to be digging latrines! There is a
paved road, a creek (small river?) and all the old houses to look at,
not to mention the actual Tannehill Furnaces. You could spend an entire
day in the museum they have there. Great stuff to show the kids!
Let me try to find a few pictures that Joy and I took in Feb of last
year when we stayed a week in an 1870's house there. I'll post them
later, can't find them at the moment.
Tim.
Hey Nancy !!! Not only do we have the same name, but our ideas about camping are the same !! I might even allow the windows to be open instead of air conditioning...lol...
