Went to the Dr. Today
Well all I went to the Dr. today. I am insulin resistant and have
high blood pressure. I also meet the other criteria because I have
sleep apnea and joint problems. I told my dr. that I wanted to have
WLS and she was super suportive. I let her know that I had been
researching it and was on these online lists and she said that was
good. She gave me the referal to a surgeon in Columbia, SC and I
should be hearing from him by Friday. I called my insurance company
and all they need is a letter of medical necessity and the surgeons
stuff and then it only takes 10-15 days for them to decide. Keep
your fingers crossed or pray or whatever you do that I soon be x
amount of time pre-op. I am excited and a bit scared at the same
time but I want to be healthy and live to see my baby grow up so I
think it will be worth it.
