WE WILL STILL HAVE THE SUPPORT GROUP MEETING SATURDAY!
Hi All! The meeting is still on for Saturday at 3:00. I feel sure
we'll have light attendance but it will be fun for those of us who
are there. We will also have protein products available. We will do
taste testing on the Extreme Smoothies but will not be mixing up
Nectar for taste testing as we will be short of folks to work the
back.
Even though it's Saturday we will have a "just visiting" meeting like
we usually do on Mondays. I hope as many of you that can will
attend. We will also be having Fashion Show Sign Up.
On a personal note:
Well, the day after Ivan the Terrible visited us we find that we've
survived it basically intact. We only lost power for about an hour.
Our basement flooded but bascially that's no biggie because we don't
ever go down there - IT'S A SCARY PLACE WITH A DIRT FLOOR AND THERE
BUT THERE MAY BUGS DOWN THERE!! (we live in a big historic home so no
fancy basement for us) - and that caused our hot water heater pilot
light to go out so we had COOL showers this morning. One window blew
out of our sunroom. We also had a small ceiling leak and several
limbs down. All in all, we were very, very blessed. We went to my
parents house yesterday (we hustled them out of town early in the
week) and they had no damage at all. On the way to their house we saw
alot of flooding and so many big, beautiful old trees down but still -
in the grand scheme - Birmingham fared VERY well. Thanks to everyone
for their prayers and thoughts. IT WORKED!
