Hello All,
Well we survived my first airplane ride ever!!!!!!!
We flew SouthWest out of Bham to Orlando, FL and the total flight
time was 67 minutes! Compared to an 11 hour drive with a meal stop
and the time difference is amazing.
I was certainly very nervous! It was pretty scary to me each time
the plane climbed or decended, I was amazed at the amount of thrust
the jet had while flying, you could really feel it if he gave it a
little gas and when he let off I was sure we were crashing!
I did not scream or cry but I sure was thinking I must have lost my
mind when we were about to take off. It took 3-4 minutes before I
would look out the window as we were climbing, but after we leveled
off some I was glued to the window looking to see the rivers and
Lakes and cool cloud banks that looked like snow!
This was something I had on my list of things to do and I did it.. I
plan on returning on the plane as well although I have joked before
the flight about renting a car and driving back if it was too much
fright!!!. LOL
We will go to BASS Pro Shop tomorrow and go to check in the Condo,
were in a Microtel Suites tonight. On Monday after spending the
weekend at Disney and Seaworld we are scheduled to go on a 12 hour
Casino cruise on the Sterling Cruise Lines casino ship, but are
toying with the idea of going on a Guided Bass fishing trip that
guarantees Trophy Bass!!! I am really leaning toward the bass
fishing but have not decided yet, the cruise sounds fun too. It sails
3 miles out and stays out a total of 12 hours I think.
We have the laptop and will be releasing post every evening and maybe
in the mornings too.
See you all next week, were flying back Wed. just in time for Chan
Man's surgery the following day. I am sure I will see some of you
there. Since there will be several of us there to support Chan and
Felicia we'll have a big waiting area in the 3rd floor atrium most
likely. Chan has many fans out there. Tim is starting an update list
for those who want to be updated via e-mail. We might have to start
a Chan Man Fan Club!!!!! :-)
We ate at Boston Market for Dinner.... Mmmm.. Meat loaf, great
cornbread too.

P.S. Lisa's Dad is House / Dog Sitting for us while were away so Bark
will be so busy with all the company he'll never even miss us. And Tim he has
orders to protect my boat from you and Chan Man at all cost... I know you
guys..... LOL
