Update on Wade
Hi Friends,
Some of you may know that Wade had hernia surgery on Monday. The procedure went off without a hitch. However, he had the hiccups after surgery and after 45 minutes of continuous hiccups they had to put an NG tube down his nose to cure them. This made him really sore. (Poor guy!) So, we've been rockin' and rollin' along since Monday and he's been feeling fair but not bouncing back like we thought he would.
So.............Dr. Miles called and said he wants to admit him. Seems his gut isn't waking up as fast as it should. I'm not sure what they do to correct this but he's going to be admitted in an hour or so and they'll do a CT Scan and some lab work, etc. Then I'm sure we'll figure out what's wrong and get him on the road to being well.
Ya'll please say a prayer for him if you think about it. I'm so happy that Dr. Miles is taking care of him - I know he's in good hands.
