Flu Shots

Since it seems like I usually get sick around Christmas with the flu,
I thought I would get a flu shot this year. Does anyone know if
getting a flu shot would in any way be a problem with just having the
surgery.

    I had to flu shot 3 weeks out of surgery and did not even get a cold
    last winter.
