Day Before Surgery Colon Blow - Housebound All Day???
The day before my surgery is election day . . . with all the meds
I'll have to take to clean out my gastrointestinal system, will I be
forced to pay homage to the porcelain diety all day or should I be
able to run to the polling place long enough to cast my vote late
that afternoon?? Just trying to figure out how bad it's going to be.
Also, I usually attend a bible study meeting on Tuesday nights. Will
that be out of the question as well??
By the way, I think Tim is really on to something in offering to
design the perfect "butt-wiper"!! I have several ideas myself. The
weblink I posted to my prior message is a good start but I think the
device is too short. It also probably needs to have another 45-degree
angle at the "butt" end to enable thorough cleansing, that can be
controlled with the hand-grasper. The ability to attach "bath wipes"
to the "butt" end so they won't move around alot would also be
really, really good. Having something akin to the way a Swiffer sheet
attaches to the Swiffer pole might work pretty good . . . just some
