A favor....
Hi to you all.
This is not diet related, but being a part of the group, I wanted to ask a favor of you all. As you all know, I had my surgery 12/19 and came home from the hospital on 12/23, as my youngest son, Cody, who is 17, flew home that evening to tell me he was being deployed to Kawait. We had a great visit, in spite of my recovering from the gastric bypass. Cody has been one of my biggest supporters and encouragers to lose the weight, not because he is embarrassed of his mom, but because he wants to see me live a long healthy life, (so I can babysit for my grandchildren he will give me someday).
Anyway, Cody will be turning 18 next month, while he is in Kawait, "fighting the war on terrorism". All of his life, I have looked forward to celebrating his 18^th birthday with him, and now we will have to put off the celebration for six months when he returns. I am asking anyone and everyone I know, if they would mind dropping Cody a birthday card in the mail, to let him know that he is thought of. I hope that it is not too much to ask, but I would appreciate it so much. Cody's address is:
PVT Cody D. Force
A/1-30^th IN BN (M)
Operation Enduring Freedom
APO, AE 09303
It just takes a normal stamp, and if you can't afford a card, just a quick note would be perfect.
Thanks so much.
Cody's Mom.....

Barb..
I have a great pal who is on the USS Paul Hamilton. The ship is
currently in Darwin, Australia for repairs - they were hit by a
tanker off the coast of Bahrain but after they get patched up they
may head back to the gulf. Their willingness to get out there and
serve and keep us and our country safe is at the very least worthy of
a card!
